We're launching our Art with Heart campaign at the end of July. Slow market has always been about "Heart", and Stellenbosch in particular is a remarkable home for all things "Art". We thought it would be a great idea to get EVERYONE we know involved in  getting as creative as we can. We want to see everyone express themselves, from  our Foodie Heaven traders to our crafts, from our suppliers & clients to our visitors, absolutely everyone! So if you're coming on that day- wear a heart or wear RED somewhere on your person and come to view the Art on display, as we've invited all of Stellenbosch to use the entire venue as one giant indoor and outdoor gallery.

Headlining in the Distell Auditorium will be the amazing Renate Riedemann, accompanied by the talented Sven Blumer for a breathtaking performance on Violin and with her beautiful voice. She recently played with Michael Buble, was part of Sterling EQ, and her current single "What do You say"- enjoys airplay on several major radio stations. Limited "Play-it-Forward" Tickets that provide access to 4 different shows-including the headline performance, are available at R80, and can be booked right here at These tickets are designed in order to pass them on to someone else  before or after having seen a show of your choice. Tickets will also be available at the door-but hurry-since the demand is intense and the auditorium only seats 80 people at a time!

The incredibly talented Laura Carmen Middleton and her 5-year old Daughter Ava will be doing Live Action painting in the main Market Hall-be sure not miss them!

We've invited our friends in the media, the writers, the bloggers and the critics. We've invited the children and the parents, the grandparents and even the family dog. Dress Up and Pitch Up, we're going to make this one a day to remember! Keep an eye out for more news about Art with Heart on the 25th of July!
